| This
interpretive sign stands at the intersection of Forest Road 500 (Lolo
Motorway) and Hwy 107. It gives you a clear understanding of the trail
and motorway as well as connecting access roads. I hiked the Wendover
Ridge Trail, to get to the Lolo Trail, on July 25, 2012. My journey
across the trail and motorway came in three phases. First, I traveled
with guides and vehicles from Snowbank Camp to Spirit Revival Ridge.
Second, I drove to the start of the trail on HWY 569 to visit Thirteen
Mile Camp. Third, in Sept. I drove HWY 100, from Kamiah to visit several
LC camps on the west end of the trail. |
