North Fork Idaho
							The Pine Creek Rapids, above, attest to a rough passage for any brave soul willing to try them. The Salmon River Road crosses to the north side, left, a few miles below the old mining town of Shoup. An interpretive sign stands near the bridge. Clark and Old Toby viewed this area from a mountain top northeast of Shoup. No need to explore any farther.
