Lewis & Clark Trail
	Plattsmouth Nebraska
	US HWY 75 runs north from Nebraska City. The Platte River meets the Missouri here. L&C had trouble with sand bars and measured the Platte at 3/4 mile wide with the water at 5 ft around the bars. I was blocked from the confluence by major flooding-and still rising. The photo, above, is the Platte flood waters. The others are a mix of both rivers spreading out.
