Little Bean Marsh
Conservation Area Missouri
The marsh is a derelict bend in the Missouri which existed in 1804. The Expedition camped on the opposite shore of the bend, above. They found an old French trading post and a stray horse. Little Bean Marsh is located off State HWY 45, north of Weston. Side ponds and thick vegetation probably looks much as it did in 1804.
